Do you ever find that when you are on an Internet research mission you come across all sorts of cool stuff
and then think ‘how can I make that relate?’ So I wont try (how lazy of me). Here’s a link to a cool blog on sweet Burlesque handmade costumey bits (wait, that does relate, yay). I had a lot of fun looking (and totally endorse handmade). http://fabulouslyhandmade.blogspot.com/2010/08/ooh-la-la-probably-not-safe-for-work.html
Actually - I’m inspired thinking about what goodies I hand-make.. so how about a competition!
Prize is a trio of my Miss la Belle’s handmade hair pretties in a lovely box, made with love and glamour in mind. All you have to do is post a comment here on this page, with the link to your favourite hand made burlesquey goodies. Points for fringe, feathers and diamantes, with extra points for how to make instructions. If you would like a double entry, post on facebook too! Then just comment again with the facebook link
Competition closes and winner announced on the 28th March 8pm NZ time. Due to the fragility to the items and my distrust of international postal handling, NZ only entries. You may not see your entry on the website straight after you post it, as I get a ton of spam (and therefore moderate), but never fear check back the next day and you will see it.

This isn’t really something to make, but I love the concept and think it might be an inspiration to some of you lovely burlesque ladies…
